The destruction of Union Station, Bangor, in 1961-- torn down as part of what was called urban renewal. Political commercials including Horace Hildreth, and Edmund S. Muskie for senator. Also commercials, one for financial services, another for Nissens English muffins with creamed leftovers. A collection of beauty queens including Miss Maine, a candidate for Miss America. The narrator is veteran announcer George Hale. Concludes with a montage from the Bangor Historical Society/WABI television collection.
